Joey Odman takes the helm of McGill Alumni Association
McGill’s downtown campus was the backdrop to Joey Odman’s time at elementary and high school on University Street – and it has remained a fixture in his life ever since. This fall, the engineering grad began his term as the new president of the McGill Alumni Association.

A special return to campus for McGill Homecoming
After two years of virtual festivities, this year’s McGill Homecoming marked a triumphant return to in-person celebrations. Friends and classmates reconnected for a full lineup of activities, including signature events such as the Beatty Lecture, the Leacock Lecture, and the McGill Redbirds Homecoming football game.

Alumni voices help shape anti-Black racism plan
Sandrine Ntibarigobeka, BA’16, forged strong friendships at McGill through the Black Students’ Network and the McGill African Students Society. When she graduated and moved back to Ontario, “I wanted to continue and have that network in Toronto with fellow alumni,” says Ntibarigobeka.

Telemedicine company inspires alumni hiring initiative
Anna Chif became interested in virtual healthcare after in-person trips to the doctor for prescription refills made caring for her ailing grandmother more difficult. Chif co-founded Dialogue, a Canadian telemedicine company, in 2016, only four years after graduating from McGill with a Bachelor of Commerce.
