Wastewater doesn’t lie. COVID-19 cases are rising once more, just as many of us prepare to celebrate the holiday season with friends and family. Coupled with the onset of flu season, it’s a nasty confluence that could put a damper on holiday plans and add even more strain to our fragile health care system.

In this episode of the Made by McGill alumni webcast, we sit down with two McGill health experts to discuss how hospitals and the healthcare profession are preparing for a rise in Covid cases, and what measures we can take to protect ourselves – and our loved ones – this holiday season.

With:

Dr. Timothy Evans, Director of McGill’s School of Population and Global Health; Executive Director, Canada’s COVID-19 Immunity Task Force.

Dr. Jesse Papenburg, pediatric infectious disease specialist and medical microbiologist, McGill University Health Centre (MUHC); Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, McGill University

Moderated by Derek Cassoff, Managing Director, Communications, McGill University Advancement.
